Yes of course! Civil marriages are conducted by the Suffolk Registrars, so once you know that your date is available at High Lodge, you will need to contact them directly to ensure that they are also available. There are fees payable directly to the Registry Office for the ceremony and Wedding Notice. Suffolk Registrars can be contacted on 0345 6072050

Can we hold our Wedding ceremony with you?
We have a range of packages to suit all budgets that include venue hire. If you are interested in creating your own bespoke Wedding day, we are happy to quote venue hire separately, please enquire with our Wedding Co-ordinator for further information.
What do your Wedding Packages include?
We have a range of formal and less formal Wedding Packages to suit all budgets. Our package prices are based on a minimum of 50 day guests (evening only reception based on 100 guests/afternoon tea package 30 guests). All packages include venue hire. Please see our brochure for the full range of packages, what is included in each package and prices. Maybe you are looking for a formal sit down 3 course meal, or maybe a less informal BBQ or afternoon tea is more your style, we have you covered!
2024/2025 packages start from £3050 for our Afternoon Tea Package for 30 guests or £3425 based on our BBQ package for 50 guests.

How do we confirm our Wedding Day?
Once we have agreed your preferred date is available, you will be sent a booking form/t's and c's which will need to be completed and returned to our Wedding Co-ordinator along with a non-refundable/non-transferrable deposit of £500. Your deposit and booking form once returned will secure your Wedding date.
How many Weddings does High Lodge host per day?
One, regardless of size, you will have exclusive use of the Champion Suite, Terrace and Staff.
Do we count ourselves in the Wedding numbers?
Yes, you will need to include yourselves in the total number of guests.
Can we provide/arrange our own food and drink?
Unfortunately not. We have our own fabulous in house Catering Team, headed up by our fantastic Chef Lucy, who will work closely with you to ensure that you have exactly what you require for your big day. We have a superb reputation for our food so please feel free to discuss any specific ideas you may have in mind.
Do you cater for my guests special dietary requirements?
Yes of course! - we will work closely with our chef and the team to ensure everyone will be happy and safe.
Do you have a fully stocked bar for our guests?
Yes, we have a fully stocked bar which at your preference we can set up as a cash bar or any limit to be billed to your account.
Can we bring our own wine/drinks?
We can provide an extensive wine and drinks list for you to choose arrival drinks, table wine and toasting drinks. However if you wish to bring your own wine, we charge a corkage charge of £15 per bottle of wine and £25 per bottle of bubbles - this would need to be confirmed 6 weeks prior to your Wedding.
This will depend on your conversation with our Wedding Co-ordinator and your requirements, however this is usually between 11.15pm and 11.30pm, with carriages at midnight.
We do allow confetti but we kindly ask for real rose petals only.
Can I bring my own decorations for the venue?
Yes of course! We do not provide any further decorations other than what you will see on your visit - the marquee lining, ceiling fairy lights and terrace festoon lights. Please discuss with your Wedding Co-ordinator if yourselves or one of your suppliers needs to access the venue for decoration purposes.
Do we need to provide the table plan and place settings?
Yes you will need to provide these items, but we can supply an easel for your table plan to stand on.
Yes we do but please ensure they are in the appropriate candle holders or lanterns.
Are we allowed fireworks at High Lodge?
Yes! As long as this is agreed with the Events Team at least 3 months prior to your Wedding date and you use one of our selected firework suppliers - please ask for details.
Do you have any accommodation onsite?
Yes, we have 19 luxury holiday lodges on site, each sleeping between 2 and 6 guests and some with private outdoor hot tubs. Lodges are available on a 2 or 3 night minimum booking. All lodges booked, whether by the Wedding Couple or the guests themselves will require a £100 deposit per lodge to be confirmed, with final balances paid 2 months prior to arrival.
Is High Lodge open to the public?
Yes High Lodge is open to the public from 9am-5pm, but you will have exclusive use of the Champion Suite and Terrace.
